Front Desk Associate
Fisheads San Juan River Lodge is looking for a dependable, hospitable person to help with the front desk of our lodge and fly shop. On really busy days, this person may also help the restaurant staff serve guests. Experience with fly fishing is preferred, but not required. There's potential to grow into a guiding role.
- Location: Navajo Dam, New Mexico
- Pay: $14/hr plus staff tips
- Type: Full -Time (30 to 40 hours per week, depending on season)
- Avaialable Shifts: 6am - 1pm or 1p - 8pm
What You'll Do
- Help guests with check-in and any other needs
- Assist customers in the fly shop
- Make and update reservations
- Answer phones and communicate with guests via email
- Restock shop merchandise and indicate when products need to be reordered
- Keep the front desk and fly shop organized and presentable
- Communicate guest requests and reservation details with guides and other lodge staff
- Operate the POS system and cash register, including end-of-shift closeouts.
We Need Someone Who Is
- Friendly and great at making guests feel welcome
- Dependable and punctual
- Organized and good at keeping track of details
- Comfortable answering phones and using a computer
- Customer service oriented and willing to help where needed
- Capable of lifting small and medium-sized boxes and restocking merchandise
- In posession of or willing to obtain a New Mexico Alcohol Server Permit
- Able to reliably get to and from Navajo Dam
