San Juan River Fishing Report & News
From Our Guides: The Weekly San Juan River Fishing Report Video for June 20th, 2024
The official June 20th Weekly San Juan River Fly Fishing Report from the guides of Fisheads San Juan River Lodge, reported by Peggy Harrell, Fly Fishing Guide. Fishing continues to be good with waters running at 350 CFS. In the morning, leeches and midge patterns in brown, black, olive, red, and cream continue to work well, especially sizes 22 and 24 such as Big Macs and Jujubees. In the afternoon, subsurface Baetis activity persists, and anglers have found success with gray and chocolate emergers. Similarly to last week, CDC RS2s and Fluff Baetis in size 22 remain effective.
