San Juan River Fishing Report & News
From Our Guides: The Weekly San Juan River Fishing Report Video for May 10th, 2024
The official May 10th San Juan River fly fishing report from the guides of Fisheads San Juan River Lodge. Report given by Aaron Silva, Fly Fishing Guide. Fishing has been good in the early morning and heats up in the afternoon. The water level changed from 350 to 500 CFS and has been off-color, with visibility around 3 feet. In the morning, we are catching fish on leeches, eggs, and red larva, trailed by a midge in olive or black. In the late morning, midges in chocolate, gray, and olive have been working well. In the afternoon, we’ve seen Baetis activity and have been fishing with gray, chocolate, and olive Baetis emergers. Hope to see you here!
