School started this week and the San Juan River in New Mexico has been a fisherman’s dream.  Not too busy and the fishing is good.  The river is now at 1260cfs as they raised the water last evening.

The usual suspects are still working such as red and cream larva in sizes 22-24.  Dark zebra midges, midge clusters and RS-2’s are working as well.

Try to get out fishing on the San Juan River during this lull in activity before the onslaught of fall.
