Mark caught this beautiful Rainbow on the lower portion of the San Juan River.  Fishing was great with hatches of caddis and PMD’s.  With the rain we had a few days ago, some ants were spotted on the river.  The ant hatch is coming just as soon as we get a good rain. If you want to get in on the fishing on the lower river, book your trip soon.

The Quality Waters are fishing well using red larva and midges in cream and gray.  Afternoons have bwo hatches.  Use foam wings. There are a few cicadas and ants there as well.

Temperatures are forecast to be in the 90’s the rest of the week and the water is at 600cfs.
