High water fishing has been excellent!  But, all good things must come to an end.  The flow is going to start being reduced on June 23rd.  The plan is the water is going to lowered over a 12 day period.  That is going to bring another interesting chapter to fishing the San Juan.  When the flows are reduced, the channels narrow and the fish have fewer areas to run and hide!  Come see us for an experience you’ll not soon forget.

With the water still being high,  jig heads, in chartreuse/white, bunny leeches in orange and yellow, pink worms, eggs and red larva are working.     Below:  High Water Catches.
