Scott and Lynn caught beautiful fish on their visit with Fisheads.  The water is rising and is almost at 4,000 cfs.  As you can see from these pictures, fishing is great and the fish are big and healthy.  Our guides love fishing high water.

The water rose a little faster than anticipated but is still fishing good. High water is an awesome time to fish the San Juan. If you haven’t experienced it, come see us the month of June, especially the latter part of June when the water levels are being reduced; great fishing to be had then.

Try drifting small larva especially red, orange and pink.  Using eggs is light colors as well a worms in pink are good.  Fish 3x or 4x leaders and heavier weights to get down to the fish.
