Chris, We had a great float trip. From my viewpoint Ben Rae was the best guide on the San Juan on June 8, 2010. He had us on top of and hooked up with fish more often than any other guided boat we saw. Ben was courteous and respectful of every other boat and wading fishing person. Ben provided more training in just two minutes than I had ever experienced. Ben provided guidance all day with out showing any frustration. Ben provided a fine shore lunch. Chris - just wanted to drop you a note and thank you again for such a fabulous experience.  Your ability to teach and entertain such a diverse group from my 9 year old nephew and 15 year old son to my 75 year old dad was amazing.  Everyone commented on how this was the best fishing they had ever done and how it far surpassed their expectations.  And having been on many guided hunting and fishing trips, I can honestly say your service was unsurpassed.  I look forward to enjoying your part of paradise again in the future.  Also, thanks for the Mexican restaurant recommendation in Farmington - we had a great meal and just what we were looking for that night.

I finally am getting around to sending a photo or two from the Orvis trip we attended in April. What a great experience we had. The Octagon Inn was comfortable, your guides were great (Nathaniel and Ben) and we had a great time!!

Here's picture's of Anthony. You can tell by his grin that he enjoyed it!! He enjoyed the lunch time entertainment as well.

"We went fishing Sunday with the best guide on the San Juan River, Chris Taylor. We landed 32 and lost a lot. There was a good PMD hatch. Only took a few pictures, don't like to handle the fish too much. I was trying to catch little ones. I can land them faster. We got some nice Browns also. Going to do it again, August 6. As normal, Barb kicked my butt, 21 to my 11."
